20K Mackinac Island cruise ship passengers had $2M impact this year

MACKINAC ISLAND, MI – Around 20,000 cruise ship passengers visited Mackinac Island this year, making an economic impact of nearly $2 million, officials announced. Nine cruise ships each visited the National Historic Landmark island in Lake Huron dozens of times during 2023.
