Great Lakes microclimate good for specialty crops

LANSING – While cornfields are abundant throughout the state, Michigan produces many more crops than just corn. Specialty crops, which are fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, flowers and other horticulture crops, are abundant in the Great Lakes state.
