Prehistoric fish species released into Saginaw Basin in restoration project

FLINT, MI – More than 100 hatchery-raised lake sturgeon were released Saturday, Aug. 19, into the Flint River near Mott Park.
The prehistoric type of fish, which can grow up to 7 feet and 300 pounds, are Federally listed species of concern.
