Milwaukee River sturgeon project is taking steps toward fulfilling the dream

Aaron Schiller included an image on the second slide of his presentation that showed the dream: fins of more than a dozen lake sturgeon protruded above the water as they gathered to spawn in a shallow, rocky section of river.
The photo was taken on the Wolf River, part of the Winnebago System and its robust, naturally-reproducing sturgeon population.
