Sea lamprey control planned for Lake Huron tributary in Alcona County

LUDINGTON – U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service personnel will apply lampricides to the Black River in Alcona County to kill sea lamprey larvae burrowed in the stream bottom. The applications will be conducted between April 24 to May 4, 2023 in accordance with State of Michigan permits.
