Lake Michigan water levels hit 'sweet spot'

Lake Michigan’s water levels continue to drop from the record highs of 2020 as it enters the seasonal period when officials say evaporation is at its peak.
According to the most recent Army Corps of Engineers weekly Great Lakes water update, Lake Michigan is 4inches lower than it was in September of 2022, and 10 inches lower than it was in October of 2021.
