Yorkville City Council okays agreement for next phase of Lake Michigan water engineering

The Yorkville City Council on Tuesday okayed the next agreement needed in the Lake Michigan water project. The council agreed to pay about a third the $20 million cost for phase two engineering to the DuPage Water Commission, which is working on how to get water out to Yorkville, Oswego, and Montgomery. City Administrator Bart Olson says phase one engineering is wrapping up.
