Lake Superior College to offer opportunities with new maritime designation

DULUTH, MN. (Northern News Now) - Lake Superior College in Duluth was recently named one of three Minnesota schools with the 2024 Center of Excellence for Domestic Maritime Workforce Training and Education Designation.
The designation from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration will now give the school more support to provide opportunities for students who want to work in the maritime industry.
