Ninth Coast Guard District announces new strategy action plan

NORTHERN MICHIGAN — Going into the new year, the Ninth Coast Guard District is setting new goals and spotlighting priority initiatives. On Wednesday, the Ninth Coast Guard District announced their inaugural Great Lakes Maritime Strategy (GLMS) Action Plan. The two-year plan "aims to create tangible and achievable goals moving forward into 2024 and each initiative reflects a priority concern within the maritime domain," according to a press release.
