Update for Sturgeon Bay Great Lakes boat departure schedule

STURGEON BAY - The grand ships of the Great Lakes fleet will be making their way to open water starting Friday, according to the Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding updated departure schedule.

The departures start with two ships leaving port March 23 with two of the largest boats, Stewart J. Cort and Mesabi Miner, sailing from Sturgeon Bay March 24, according to Bay Shipbuilding. 

The schedule is tentative and often changes as the weather fluctuates:
